Remote care,
properly engineered.

We are developing the hardware and software that brings the GP consultation into the home. Connected measurement devices, patient-side tablets, and the clinical interface that ties them together.

What we build

The full stack of remote care.

Software, hardware, and integration. Built as a coherent system, not separate products bolted together.

GP Consultation Platform

Software that enables GPs to conduct meaningful remote consultations. Not a generic video call: structured clinical workflows, guided measurement steps, and session documentation built for how GPs actually work.

  • Structured video consultation interface for GPs
  • Guided patient measurement workflows
  • Session documentation built into the flow
  • Integrates with Dutch GP practice systems

Connected Measurement Integration

Standard clinical measurements taken at home by the patient, appearing live on the doctor's screen during the consultation. Temperature, oxygen saturation, blood pressure: from the patient's home into the session.

  • Thermometer, oximeter, blood pressure cuff support
  • Real-time data transmission during consultation
  • Patient-guided measurement with doctor instruction
  • Clinical-grade peripheral device compatibility

Patient-Side Hardware

A tablet-based unit designed to be handed to patients, not set up by them. Pre-configured, connected to peripheral measurement devices, and operable by someone who has never used a medical device before.

  • Simple interface designed for elderly users
  • Pre-connected peripheral device support
  • Remote configuration by the healthcare provider
  • Reliable hardware built for daily home use

Clinician Workstation

A purpose-built station for GPs running remote consultations. Video, incoming measurement data, and session history in one view. Designed to sit in the existing consultation room without disrupting the workflow.

  • Compact workstation for GP consultation rooms
  • Live measurement data alongside video
  • Patient history and session documentation
  • Designed for clinic-room integration

Bringing Healthcare Home

Remote GP Consultations for the Netherlands

First pilot in development

Most people see their GP via a phone call before getting an in-person appointment. That works for many situations, but it leaves the doctor without any objective data: no temperature reading, no oxygen levels, no blood pressure. Just what the patient describes, which is not always enough to make a good decision.

We are building a system that closes this gap. The patient sits at home with a tablet and a set of connected measurement devices. The GP has a workstation in the practice. During the consultation, the doctor can guide the patient through taking measurements and see the results in real time, alongside the video. It is closer to an actual examination than a phone call, without the patient needing to travel. Particularly for elderly patients, this changes what remote care can mean.

About OSTeam Medical

Healthcare technology, built by engineers.

Eindhoven, Netherlands

OSTeam Medical B.V. is based in Eindhoven, in the Brainport region, the Netherlands' leading high-tech engineering cluster. We work at the intersection of healthcare delivery and software engineering: building the systems that allow care to happen outside the traditional clinical setting.

Our focus is practical. We are not building a platform for investors to look at. We are building tools that clinicians can use during a consultation, and hardware that a patient in their living room can interact with without training. That gap between clinical requirements and real-world usability is where we work.

We are part of OSTeam, a holding company that also operates OSTeam Software B.V., which means our healthcare software is built by the same team that builds production-grade business systems. Same engineering discipline, different domain.
